✨ Diva Unveiled: Soror Spotlight ✨

The Sumter Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, is proud to continue our Diva Unveiled series by recognizing an extraordinary educator, servant leader, and devoted Soror, Antoinetta "Jamie" Rogers.

With nearly twelve years of excellence in education, Soror Rogers has dedicated her career to empowering students through academic achievement, literacy, and meaningful relationships.

From being named 2017–2018 Teacher of the Year at Bethune-Bowman High School to earning the distinction of 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year at Richland Northeast High School, she continues to exemplify educational excellence. In addition to serving as English Department Director, she extends her passion for education as a Writing Instructor for South Carolina State University's Summer Exam Preparatory Institute and as an Adjunct Instructor at Midlands Technical College.

Initiated into Alpha Xi Chapter in Spring 2010, Soror Rogers faithfully serves the Sumter Alumnae Chapter as Risk Management Coordinator and Co-Chair of EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence), where the committee and she successfully planned and hosted their First All-Male Symposium this past May, in partnership with the Gamma Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Through her unwavering dedication, she continues to uplift youth, strengthen families, and advance our sorority's mission of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and social action.
