The Delta Cotillion is designed for African American young ladies who are high school Juniors or Seniors (Debutante), Freshmen or Sophomores (Sub-Debutante) by September of the year the Cotillion Ball is held, reside in Clarendon, Lee, or Sumter Counties and intend to enroll in a post-secondary institution. These young ladies must also exhibit exceptional academic performance, high moral standards, and active community involvement.
Our Debutantes will benefit from their connection to a dynamic organization of women who are high achievers committed to public service. This relationship along with new found friendships offers these young ladies the opportunity to create a unique bond which is like no other. Participation in this program also let college admission officers know that the participant is an active leader in her school and community, is highly respected, and is committed to volunteering in her community. |
